Abstract and Paper Submission
Register on the conference website and fill out the required details as a author.
To submit abstract proceed to the abstract submission portal register and upload the abstract (submit only MS words – doc, docx format). To conclude abstract submission, make payments online here. Alternatively, scan copies of both the conference registration and abstract processing fee payment tellers and upload on the registration portal.”
Please note that the payment of the abstract processing fee is a prerequisite to processing the abstract but DOES NOT guarantee eventual acceptance by the Scientific Committee.
The abstract should be of 250 words typed in Microsoft Word Times New Romans, Font size 12, and in good English. The abstract should contain the Title, Author(s) and Affiliation(s), Full Address and e-mails. FIVE Keywords should be provided. The Abstract should be structured into sections including Background, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion. Telephone number and email address of the corresponding author (identified by placing an asterisk by the surname) should also be indicated. Download the Abstract Template for use”. Abstracts should be submitted not later than 30th April, 2018.
To submit an abstract; participants will be expected to pay the appropriate conference registration fee (click here to view payment options) as well as the abstract processing fees of ₦3000 (Three Thousand Naira Only) per abstract into the account of Biotechnology Society of Nigeria – CU Chapter (UBA Bank, Account No: 1020933505).
Authors submitting posters should download the BSN-Ota ’18 Poster Template and use for the preparation of their posters. Posters not conforming to the standard template will be rejected.
The full articles presented during the conference and accepted for publication after standard peer-review process will be published in the Nigerian Journal of Biotechnology and a special edition of the Covenant Journal of Physical and Life Sciences.
The full article should be arranged in the order. The first page of the manuscript should contain the title (in bold title case), the Name(s) of the Author(s) in full, their Affiliation(s), Full Address and e-mail of corresponding Author and a full text of the Abstract (250 words). The text should be typed in Times New Romans, font size 12; organized into the following sub-sections in bold lower-case letters: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements and References. References should be purely Harvard style. Manuscripts that do not conform to the recommended format, deadline and payment of prescribed fees will be rejected.
